Friendship: Society's WWW

by: Paul John Madera

"A friend shares with our sorrow and pain"

Friendship is mutually cooperative and supportive behavior between two or more people. It is a relationship where in mutual intimacy begins. In this process friends became our comfort zone. They began to take a bigger portion in our life like our significant ones and our family. We begin to disregard space and we grow together with our friends.

Friendship is an equal sharing of pain and happiness and of cost and reward. Therefore it is the force that binds similarities and understands differences. In wider scope friendship is the fruit of social interaction and penetration. A relationship formed through in depth socialization and reduction of personal uncertainties.

We laugh, we cry, we grieve and we weep when we were with our friends. It’s the established connection between us and them that made it possible. They consciously and unconsciously provide us with the strength we need when everything brings us down like what a family does. So in this sense our friends are our family outside of our home.Friends are our source of happiness when we left our home. They fill the gaps that a romantic relationship left. Friends indeed are vital elements to sustain our social life.

"Friendship is like the World Wide Web and the society is the superhighway of vast personalities."
